Maintenance Supervisor

- Responsible for all mechanical inspection documentation on existing and new equipment

- Prioritize mechanical work assignments

- Supervise and coordinate installation, repair and inspection of mechanical equipment

- Organize, assign and direct day to day activities to maintenance personnel

- Maintain a documented weekly summary of completed work

- Ensure all mechanical drawings and electrical drawings are complete and up-to-date

- Plan and maintain an overtime schedule of upcoming and uncompleted jobs. This schedule will be reviewed and approved by the maintenance manger.

- Communicate with maintenance team and the department manager, on all critical equipment changes and updates

- Assist in the management of the preventative maintenance program

- Report any manpower and disciplinary actions to the department manager

- Maintain a monthly work schedule of upcoming and uncompleted jobs that will be shared with all departments

- Provide technical advice and assistance to maintenance personnel, contractors, etc. 

- Assist in developing procedures and standard maintenance practices

- Train personnel in performance of job tasks

- Knowledge of applicable mechanical codes, standards and regulations

- Report any unsafe activities within the company to the maintenance manger

- Maintain job costing for mechanical projects, which should include components and personnel

- Responsible to schedule mechanical coverage for all shifts and overtime

- Submit daily mechanical summary to maintenance manager

- Work in a safe manner and maintain 5S




- Relevant education (trades or associate degree) or minimum 3 years maintenance experienance

- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience

- Experience working in an automotive industry
